Empanelment Programme ECHS

Introduction: National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH-QCI) has been entrusted with the task of assessing hospitals as per set criteria for empanelment of Hospitals with Ex Service Men Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS).

Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS): It has been established to provide quality Medicare to Armed Forces Veterans (AFV) and their dependents through a network of ECHS Polyclinics, service medical facilities and civil empanelled / government hospitals spread across the country.
Process: ECHS in order to ensure quality Healthcare services to all its beneficiaries has gone into MoU with Quality Council of India (QCI) for assessment of Hospitals on behalf of ECHS for empanelment. NABH-QCI empanelment program based on the application format specified for empanelment under and Based on the assessment, NABH-QCI will submit its recommendations to the ECHS and also display on website at sapple.co.in/nabh
How to apply for ECHS empanelment?: The Health care organisations will be able to apply for and pay fee for empanelment through the online ECE portal; guidelines for which are available on the NABH website at “Steps to Apply for ECHS & CGHS Empanelment” document.

Applicants desirous of getting their facilities assessed for CGHS / ECHS Empanelment are encouraged to apply online for prompt processing. In case, the HCOs have any difficulty in applying, they may contact NABH Secretariat at E-mail: ece@nabh.co

How much is the Fees?: Fee structure depends on the type of facility and bed strength which can be viewed in the application form itself in the website.
