Emergency care is the backbone of health care services anywhere. All around the world, acutely ill and injured people seek care every day.  A systematic approach leads to early recognition of instability and prevention of cardiorespiratory collapse in these patients. In the event of collapse a protocolized approach leads to better quality of resuscitation and thus better chance of neurologically intact survival. It is necessary to have healthcare providers (HCPs) (doctors, nurses and paramedics) trained in the latest internationally approved systematic approach for the strengthening of the emergency care systems that serve as the first point of contact with the health system, and to support the development of quality timely emergency care accessible to all. The emergency care in India is still in its infancy because there is a huge shortage of appropriately trained HCPs. To build trained workforce, NABH has initiated to organise hands on workshop on “Life Support”. This will be instrumental in improving emergency services in the country.

Medical professional, Nursing professional, Medical administrators, Para medical staff. NABH encourages to keep the group mix of professionals from diverse healthcare background.

Each participant of the workshop will receive printed course material including learning and reference material. The workshop will be a combination of theory, demonstration, panel discussions and will involve active participation. The workshop will also include post training evaluation and upon successful completion, candidates will be provided certificate of participation.
