Oral Substitution Therapy (OST) Centre Accreditation
NABH Accreditation for Oral Substitution Therapy (OST) centres was developed for National AIDS Control organisation (NACO) to improve health status of Injectile Drug Users (IDUs) and prevent spread of HIV AIDS. NABH Accreditation for OST centres is based on the “Standard Operating Procedure for Oral Substitution Therapy with Buprenorphine” made by NACO.
OST Centre willing to be accredited by NABH must ensure the implementation of SOP for Oral Substitution Therapy.
The assessment team will check the implementation of criteria within the organisation. The centre shall be able to demonstrate to NABH assessment team that all standards, as applicable, are followed.
