Awareness Programme for Accreditation for Blood Bank
The 3rd Edition of NABH Blood Centre Accreditation Standards is now in effect, intended for blood banks and transfusion centres that want to ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of their operations. It mandates adherence to scientifically validated procedures across donor screening, blood collection, component preparation, testing, storage, and distribution. The certificate under this edition is valid for three years and introduces a progressive categorisation model: Core, Commitment, Achievement, and Excellence.
