Awareness Programme for Empanelment (ECHS & CGHS)
NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers), a constituent board of the Quality Council of India (QCI), has been entrusted through a Memorandum of Understanding with ECHS and CGHS with the responsibility of assessing healthcare organisations for empanelment under the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) and Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS).
This programme is applicable to allopathic healthcare organisations including private hospitals, standalone eye hospitals and centres, dental clinics, diagnostic laboratories, and imaging centres
- To provide a comprehensive overview of the NABH Empanelment Programme (ECHS & CGHS) and its mandate
- To familiarise healthcare organisations with key eligibility criteria, quality benchmarks, and infrastructure/manpower requirements
- To present the end-to-end empanelment process, including application submission, assessments, and final recommendation
- To outline key operational aspects such as documentation requirements, fee structure, and renewal framework
- Owners and administrators of private hospitals, eye hospitals, and dental clinics, Heads of diagnostic laboratories and imaging centres
- Quality managers, empanelment coordinators and Medical and allied health professionals
- Healthcare organisations seeking empanelment under ECHS and CGHS
- Enhances credibility and visibility of healthcare organisations through NABH-QCI recognition, while enabling access to a large and diverse beneficiary base including CGHS and ECHS beneficiaries.
