NABH Digital Health Standards Training for Front Office Staff

Register

The front office is often a patient’s first and last point of contact with a hospital — from registration and appointment scheduling to admission, discharge, and billing. As hospitals increasingly rely on Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to manage these touchpoints, front office teams play a critical role in ensuring accurate patient data capture, smooth digital workflows, and a positive patient experience. This training programme on NABH Digital Health Standards for Front Office Staff is designed to build practical, role-specific understanding of how digital systems should support efficient, secure, and patient-friendly front office operations.

The programme walks participants through the key chapters of the NABH Digital Health Standards — Access, Assessment & Continuity of Care; Care of Patients; Facility & Patient Management (including digital billing); Information Management; and Digital Access Controls — using real front office scenarios such as patient registration, appointment booking, referrals, admission and discharge, and digital payments. Participants will learn how accurate registration, structured patient data, secure digital billing, and information security practices come together to reduce errors, speed up patient flow, and strengthen the overall quality of the patient journey.
